Whole coriander seeds, also called coriander seed from Schani round seeds with a warm, citrusy and lightly sweet aroma. It is a useful choice when you want a familiar spice or ingredient for Indian cooking. Its character works equally well in everyday recipes and traditional preparations.
How to use it. Toast the seeds briefly in a dry pan and crush them just before cooking; they can also go whole into the initial tempering.
