Kings tukmaria are basil seeds that are soaked before use. After soaking, they form a jelly-like layer around each seed. They are common in chilled drinks and desserts across South Asia.
How to use it. Put the seeds in water for a few minutes until hydrated, then drain them. Add them at the end to drinks, falooda or cold desserts.
Best for. Ideal for recipes calling for tukmaria or basil seeds, especially refreshing drinks and sweets. Keep the pack in a dry place and use small quantities.
