Chakki atta is wholewheat flour milled for making chapati and roti. It has the character of whole wheat and forms a flexible dough when worked with water and rest.
How to use it. Add water gradually, knead until the dough is smooth and rest it before rolling. Cook thin discs on a hot griddle or frying pan on both sides.
Best for. Everyday chapati, roti, simple paratha and meals served with curry or dal.
